About the evening

160 seats. One stage. An incredible lineup.

En Garde Arts invites you to join us at our December Benefit honoring Theresa Rebeck. A fearless storyteller and the most produced female playwright on Broadway, Rebeck will be honored with En Garde Arts’ Change Maker Award, presented by Tony and Emmy winner Tony Shalhoub.

A ceremony that transforms into a one-of-a-kind performance

Alfred Molina, Marin Ireland, and Delilah Napier take the stage in an exclusive performance of scenes from A Foreign Body, written by Neena Beber and directed by Rebeck herself. Witness these acclaimed actors up close, in the kind of raw, unfiltered setting that only En Garde Arts can conjure.

The evening crescendos with an intimate performance by the incomparable Cyndi Lauper. This isn’t an arena show, it’s a chance to experience one of the most iconic voices of our time in a jewel-box theatre, surrounded by just 160 fellow guests.

This is more than a benefit. It’s a rare convergence of artistry, generosity, and heart, where every ticket fuels the next generation of bold, boundary-pushing work. Join us in honoring the remarkable impact of Theresa Rebeck and help En Garde Arts continue to transform New York City into a stage for new voices and unforgettable stories.
