  1. The Nightmare Machine exists in a dark, subterranean basement bar so far underground that it’s halfway to Hell. Maybe it is Hell—Purgatory at least.

It’s a place where people’s nightmares are watched for entertainment under the false guise of scientific research. In reality it’s an act of utter sadism, cruelty, and manipulation.

Everyone who sits in the chair are young hipster types that are drunk, stoned, or both and want to get off on the thrill and taboo of the experience.

  2. Taking a journey through a huge opera house. I meet all the characters of my life and those I’ve shared dreams and with whom I have performed.

  3. It’s a few months in the future, and I am in NYC at another magnificent Engarde Arts event .

  4. Let us ser the beauty and humanity in each person we meet and treat them like fellow travelers on a magnificent journey

  5. I’m walking along the street with a few friends, including my cousin Michael, he’s about to get hit by a car and I try to walk around the other side, around the back of a truck but I can’t move in that direction for some reason.  I walk back around the front of the truck and I see that my friends are now far ahead of me, way down a hill to the right. As I’m about to run down to join them, I see a policeman on a hoverpad, whizzing by- it’s Pip Torrens dressed as he is as Sir Alan “Tommy” Lascelles in the Crown TV series.  I recognize him and he stops to say hi and show me his hover device.

  6. Discovering additional rooms in my space. This is a recurrent dream. Sometimes it is my neighbor’s loft that opens up into more square footage. It is often ornately decorated, well-lit, airy and spacious.

  7. things I cannot remember upon
waking, but somehow linger as feelings that guide me through the day

  8. I never dream about the past… I dream a mishmash of current images and circumstances. But Room #1 was totally relatable. (Amazing sets!)

  9. A big, long table filled with bottles of wine and warm bread and everyone I love. But for some reason, we cannot eat.

I dream about…
